ABA’s 2025 Backpack Drive Delivers Essential School Supplies to Arizona Youth

TEMPE, Ariz. (Sept. 24, 2025) – The Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA), a leading trade association for contractors in Arizona, successfully hosted its annual Backpack Drive distributions, delivering $34,990 in essential school supplies to 800 students across Arizona. The distributions followed the ABA’s 2025 Backpack Drive, during which the ABA’s Community Service Board, construction industry professionals, volunteers, and community members collected monetary donations to purchase essential school supplies for Arizona youth.

At the backpack distribution events, hundreds of students in grades K-12 eagerly lined up to select a backpack of their choice. Each student then had the opportunity to choose from multiple piles of school supplies, picking out colorful items such as notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, folders, and more to fill their backpacks for the new school year.

ABA volunteers and local community members joined forces with local organizations at backpack drive distribution events that took place on August 4th at Children First Leadership Academy (CFLA) in Phoenix, July 11th at Arizona Baptist Children’s Services in Tucson, July 16 at Rise Family Services in Mesa, and July 18th at Santo Nino Catholic Community.
