Summer Intern Foundations Training provides hands-on experience and executive mentorship

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 1, 2025) – Helix Electric Inc., a leading national electrical contractor, hosted its annual summer Intern Foundations Training at its corporate headquarters in San Diego. The training brought together first-semester interns from a variety of Helix offices and national universities for an intensive 3-day immersive experience designed to cultivate the next generation of electrical construction professionals.

The comprehensive training featured hands-on technical training, including conduit bending and wiring basics, alongside executive mentorship opportunities with company leadership. Interns also engaged in team-building activities, while gaining practical insights into project lifecycles, renewable energy, and construction technology.
