SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (December 19, 2025) – The Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA), a leading trade association for contractors in Arizona, celebrated the graduation of over 100 construction professionals from its comprehensive leadership development programs. The graduation ceremony, held December 4 at The Clayton House in Scottsdale, recognized participants who completed the Leadership Development Forum, Women in Leadership, and Emerging Leaders Forum programs.
These three programs represent the ABA’s commitment to strengthening Arizona’s construction workforce by developing skilled leaders who can address industry challenges and drive innovation. Throughout the year-long programs, participants enhanced their leadership capabilities, expanded their professional networks, and gained deeper insights into Arizona’s construction landscape. These initiatives directly support the industry’s need for qualified professionals and help bridge the workforce gap facing construction companies statewide.
“Professional development is the foundation of a thriving construction industry,” said Kim Davids, President of the Arizona Builders Alliance. “These graduates represent the future leaders who will guide our industry through evolving challenges while maintaining the high standards Arizona construction is known for. By investing in leadership training, we’re building a stronger workforce that can meet the growing demands of our state’s infrastructure needs.”
The graduation ceremony highlighted the ABA’s role in fostering relationships within the construction community. Attendees included industry veterans, emerging professionals, and representatives from member companies who gathered to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues. The event featured networking opportunities that allowed participants to build lasting partnerships across different sectors of the construction industry.
“These leadership programs create connections that extend far beyond the classroom,” said Crystal Pierce, Director of Business Development at FFKR Architects. “The relationships formed through these initiatives strengthen our entire industry and create opportunities for collaboration that benefit construction projects throughout Arizona.”
The ABA’s leadership development programs address the construction industry’s ongoing need for skilled professionals by providing comprehensive training that combines technical knowledge with leadership skills. The programs attract participants from various construction disciplines, creating a diverse learning environment that reflects the collaborative nature of modern construction projects. This approach helps ensure that Arizona’s construction workforce remains competitive and capable of handling complex infrastructure challenges.
