Arizona Builders Alliance Seeks Nonprofits for $100K Pro-Bono Project

Construction association extends deadline to submit applications for free work

TEMPE, Ariz. (January 23, 2025) – Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA), the state’s leading construction industry association, has extended the deadline to submit applications for its annual Community Service Project. The ABA will select one Valley nonprofit to receive free construction and renovation services valued up to $100,000.

The ABA will accept applications from local nonprofits until this Friday, January 24, 2025. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits located within the Phoenix metropolitan area focused on the needs of children and families. Projects should not require permits and must have an estimated value between $10,000 and $100,000. Ideal projects will involve multiple trades, including painting, flooring repairs, drywall, electrical work, HVAC, masonry, mechanical work, renovations, roofing repairs, and ceiling repairs.

The Community Service Project initiative is led by ABA’s Leadership Development Forum and highlights ABA’s dedication to social responsibility and its members’ commitment to using their skills for the greater good of the Phoenix community.

In 2024 the ABA’s Leadership Development Forum worked with Family Promise of Greater Phoenix, a local nonprofit organization that serves families with children who are currently homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
