STERLING, Va. (February 2, 2026) — Rosendin Electric Inc., the nation’s largest employee-owned electrical contractor, received the NAIOP Northern Virginia Award of Merit for Interior Industrial/Flex Space for its 15,000-square-foot Sterling, VA office expansion, completed in August 2024. The award recognizes significant contributions to the region’s built environment by the commercial, industrial and mixed-use real estate community.
The Sterling office represents Rosendin’s ongoing investment in regional infrastructure, while demonstrating how flexible workspaces and safety-promoting features align with the company’s growth goals. Delivered in three phases across two buildings, the layout connects office and team spaces, with a state-of-the-art conference room, and warehouse and fabrication areas to foster unity and learning.
“This space embodies our values of growing with purpose across all levels of our organization,” said Keith Douglas, CEO, Rosendin. “This workspace is designed with both functionality and safety in mind, allowing our team to maintain the highest standards while serving our East region customers.”
The Sterling office serves as a regional hub for Rosendin’s operations in the East region, supporting complex electrical projects throughout its East Coast operations. The project was completed by FORM Architects, as well as multiple NAIOP member organizations, including general contractor TRINITY Group Construction, KLNB, and J2H Partners.
“The award validates our approach to creating environments where our employees can thrive while maintaining our commitment to safety and quality,” said Matt Orosz, Senior Vice President, East Region, Rosendin. “When our teams work in an environment that prioritizes their well-being, it translates directly to exceptional results for our customers.”
The honor was presented on November 20, 2025, during the NAIOP Northern Virginia Awards Ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons. The recognition adds to Rosendin’s growing presence in the Mid-Atlantic market, where the company continues to expand its portfolio of data center, healthcare, and commercial projects.
