Our Goals.

One of Intel’s largest campuses, started 40 years ago in Arizona, today boasts more than 12,000 employees contributing an economic impact of more than $8.6B annually. Thanks to Intel’s leadership and global presence, in recent years Arizona has become one of the United States’ largest semiconductor hubs, exponentially growing the number of advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology-driven companies in the region.

10 to 1 Public Relations was tasked with helping Intel to further solidify its reputation as the leading advanced manufacturing and semiconductor company in Arizona and as the local employer of choice at the same time as other market entrants were trying to raise their local profile and hire employees.

What We Did.

10 to 1 PR focused on maximizing major Arizona-centered announcements, while also highlighting the company’s local impact including its annual charitable donations of more than $27M and 554,000 volunteer hours by its employees to Arizona nonprofits since 2017.

Our efforts started with coordinating on-site media efforts with Arizona media regarding the groundbreaking of a new $20B Fab on the Intel campus. The event featured the CEO of Intel and the Governor of Arizona among others resulting in global stories along with more than 40 Arizona stories on the day of the groundbreaking in local television news, business newspapers, and community newspapers.

Media relations and community relations efforts grew from there, and in the following months and years continue to consistently generate stories highlighting Intel’s impact on Arizona’s economy, job growth, investment, innovation, water conservation, and support for local community nonprofit organizations. We have also helped coordinate the award nominations of Intel leadership to further grow Intel’s local reputation as the foremost advanced manufacturing leader in Arizona.
